It feels great when a trade show of your choice hits town. Recently, I had the opportunity to visit a consumer electronic trade show which was held in the downtown area.
I must confess I prefer the simple and clean looking trade show booths that clearly explain or detail what their company is about. Some of the booths you see at the shows are very cool but have nothing to do with their business. To me a simple booth with the proper accessories (trade show banner stands and literature racks) are more effective for brand marketing and retention then the more expensive glamorous booths.
While at the convention center I was quick to grab the necessary literature from their respective literature racks and did read them partially. Many trade show displays were trying to outshine the others with the use of graphical trade show banner stands, colorful lightning, properly placed literature racks, and promotional items so that attendees easily get attracted towards that brand.
The show was fun and I got to see a lot new electronic items out that are out or will be coming out in the market fairly soon.
